Riki CaineRiki joined Visiting Vet in May 2004. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business and worked in the Human Resources department for a large chemical company for 20 years. You will find her mostly behind the scenes taking care of the financial end of running the practice.
She has ridden horses for most of her life and currently owns two that she keeps at her home in Valley City. She is a member of CADS and NODA and enjoys showing her paint, Killian at the schooling shows. Her menagerie includes her dog, Alex, and 4 cats.
Barb TuskasBarbara, a native of Western Connecticut brings over 25 years of experience in both large and small veterinary care to the Visiting Vet. Often your first point of contact when calling The Visiting Vet is Barb who will assist you in obtaining the necessary veterinary care.
An avid equestrian, Barb has over 35 years of riding experience and currently shows her Oldenburg in dressage. In 2007, she was awarded her USDF bronze medal.
She and her husband also breed and show championship caliber AKC boxers, three of whom they share their home.
Beth Gamin
Beth Gamin is twenty-three years old and has worked for Dr. Gaffney since she was sixteen. She originally was hired to baby-sit, care for horses, and groom at horse shows, but began helping out in the clinic and office when she was eighteen. Beth is interested in furthering her education in veterinary medicine by taking classes at Cuyahoga Community College to become a registered veterinary technician. She has always been very interested in animals and is happy to have been surrounded by them for her entire life. Beth has been riding horses since she was three, and has owned her horse, Zak, for nine years. She also has three dogs, a rabbit and two cats.
